About Us - Incorporated as Accompany Software Corporation in 1990 by "BBarton Sr", BBarton began with the unique capability of programming Compact Disc - interactive applications. Chances are pretty good that you have never heard of CD-i, but we were developing applications for training, marketing, and retail kiosks before most people knew what "multimedia" was.

An overseeing theme we operate under is "No BS." Straight talk is the only way to go. We will look for the best solution for you, not for us. IBM once referred another Fortune 500 company to us. After investigating the project, we told the company that we could do the project but that they would be better served by having their hosting service (whom we interviewed) do it. After the stunned silence, they thanked us. Fortunately for us they did call back later and we did a different project for them.

Bruce Warner (“BBarton Sr”)

Bruce holds a BA from Luther College in Computer Science and Mathematics (and was a few courses shy of Physics major). After graduation he started with Unisys as systems programmer working on remote terminal emulation. Bruce founded BBarton/Accompany in 1990.

At BBarton Bruce manages projects, supervises and participates in development, and occasionally even gets involved in a little graphic work. His all-time favorite BBarton project is the interactive PDA wall we developed for 3M (www.AccompanySoftware.com/pda_wall).
